A number is computed or cited, never estimated

Molecular formulae and masses in the catalogue are calculated at build time from the sequence or formula shown on the page. Nothing is copied from a supplier datasheet. Where a compound's commercial composition varies between suppliers, no mass is published at all.

A link is opened before it is published

Guideline and regulator URLs are fetched and must return a live document. PubMed identifiers are confirmed against the NCBI summary API. Each source carries the date it was last checked, and the check is repeated when content is revised.

Outbound links to primary sources carry no nofollow. A laboratory that hedges its own references invites the reader to ask why.

A determination is named after the chapter it was run under

Enumeration is not called sterility. A screen bounded by the standards held says so on the page and on the certificate. Mislabelling a method is the most common way a document misleads without containing a false number.

On authorship, and why there is no byline

The convention in this field is a named author with credentials and a named medical reviewer beside them. Where those people exist, the convention is a good one. Where they do not, inventing them is a false statement about a person, and it is a worse failure than the absence it was meant to cover.

Content here is therefore published under the ANALYTON name. When a reviewer is engaged, the name, the credentials and the date of review will appear, and they will be verifiable.
