Privacy notice
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party script and loads no external font. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only personal data ANALYTON holds is what a person writes into the contact form or into an email, and correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted after twelve months.
Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font network, which is a deliberate choice: an externally hosted font transmits every visitor's IP address to a third party before a single word is read.

|---|---|---|---|
| Contact form and email enquiries | Name, email address, company where given, and the content of the enquiry | Legitimate interest in answering an enquiry, and steps prior to a contract where a quotation follows | 12 months where no engagement follows; otherwise with the job record |
| Quotations and orders | Contact details, billing details, sample description, determinations ordered | Performance of a contract | 10 years, matching certificate retention and statutory accounting periods |
| Certificates and raw data | Sample description, results, instrument files; client identity attached to the job record | Performance of a contract and legitimate interest in a verifiable record | Raw data 5 years, certificates 10 years |
| Server logs | IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent, held by the hosting provider | Legitimate interest in operating and securing the site | Short-term, per the hosting provider's standard retention |
Legal bases are those of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Where the basis is legitimate interest, the interest is stated in the same row rather than left as a category.
The hosting provider operates the server and necessarily processes the traffic that reaches it. The mail provider carries the correspondence. Both act as processors under contract and neither uses the data for its own purposes.
Where part of an analysis is subcontracted to a specialist provider, that provider receives the sample and returns the result. It does not receive client contact details. Samples move under a submission reference rather than under a client name, which is both a confidentiality measure and a way of keeping the determination blind to whose material it is.
Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or transferred outside the European Economic Area except where a client's own instruction requires it, in which case the transfer basis is stated at the time.

The controller is the company identified at the head of the General Conditions, which carry its legal name, registered office and company number. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection are available on written request to lab@analyton.com, and a request is answered within one month.
Erasure has one real limit worth stating plainly. Analytical records, raw data and certificates are retained for the periods in the table above, because a certificate that cannot be traced back to its underlying data stops being evidence. Where erasure is requested and a retention obligation applies, the record is restricted from further use rather than deleted, and the requester is told which records those are and why.
A complaint may be made to the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, or to the supervisory authority of the country of residence.

Does analyton.com use cookies or tracking?
No. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party script, loads no external font and carries no advertising or social pixel. Nothing on it requires consent, which is why there is no consent banner.
What personal data does ANALYTON collect?
Only what is written into the contact form or into an email: name, email address, optionally a company name, and whatever the enquiry itself contains. There is no account, no profile and no automated decision-making of any kind.
How long is enquiry correspondence kept?
Correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted after twelve months. Where an engagement follows, correspondence is kept with the job record for the same period as the certificate, which is ten years, because a report presented years later has to be traceable to the instruction that produced it.
Are analytical results personal data?
Normally no. A result describes a material, not a person. Where a client is a natural person, the association between that person and the sample is personal data and is treated as confidential under Article 9 of the General Conditions as well as under data protection law.
