Submit a sample
Write first. Shipping instructions depend on the matrix, the panel and the destination, and a sample that arrives without a reference number cannot be matched to an order.
| Compound | Declared name, or "unknown" if a blind determination is wanted |
| Matrix | Lyophilised vial, solution, raw powder, tablet, capsule, cream |
| Declared amount | As printed on the label |
| Batch | Batch or lot number, if any |
| Panel | Or the question you need answered, and the panel will be proposed |
| Units available | How many, and whether from one batch |
| Origin | Country the shipment leaves from |
Enquiry and quotation
Panel, matrix and unit count are confirmed, and a written quotation is issued with the turnaround for that specific work.
Reference number and shipping instructions
A reference is assigned and written instructions are issued covering packaging, declaration and address. The reference goes inside the parcel and on the waybill.
Receipt and condition record
Condition on arrival is recorded and photographed before any container is opened. Anything that compromises the analysis — a broken seal, a collapsed cake, a leaking vial — is reported before work begins, not afterwards.
Analysis
Determinations are run in the order that makes them meaningful: identity first, then purity and content, then safety parameters. Microbiological work runs in parallel because incubation sets its own clock.
Certificate
Issued with report number and verification key, raw data available on request, and the exclusions listed on the face of the document.
Ship in the original container. Decanting a lyophilisate into a different vial introduces water, loses material on the walls and destroys any statement about seal integrity.
Raw powder goes in sealed glass, not a plastic bag. Peptide powder takes up atmospheric moisture within minutes and every content figure derived from a wet sample is low.
Rigid outer packaging, individual wrapping, and no loose vials in an envelope. Glass that arrives broken cannot be analysed and cannot be re-sent by us.
Where cold chain matters, say so in the enquiry. A solution that spent a week at ambient temperature will report degradation products, and that result describes the shipping rather than the product.
| Form | Amount |
|---|---|
| Finished vial, lyophilised | One unopened vial |
| Raw API powder | 30 mg, sealed glass vial |
| Solution | 1 mL |
| Microbial enumeration or sterility | Two unopened units |
| Tablet or capsule | One unit per determination |
| Finished cosmetic | 50 g or two retail units |
Less than the stated amount can often still be analysed, with a corresponding loss of confidence. That trade-off will be spelled out before work starts rather than discovered in the result.
Before you send anything
Customs declarations, import restrictions and the lawfulness of shipping a given substance from a given country are the sender's responsibility. ANALYTON cannot advise on them and cannot accept a shipment that a carrier or authority refuses.
No sample is analysed without a written enquiry first, and no report is issued without a sample.
